Natural Leather Upper / Papillio Footbed - Suede Lined Natural leather can be recognized by its untreated surface. Birkenstock purposely does not treat surface grains and other characteristic features such as naturally occurring colour irregularities.

Having the same layered, cork, jute and latex construction as the classic Birkenstock footbed, the shape of the Papillio footbed is slightly flatter and slightly squarer at the heel, but offers great support and comfort.

The Carmen

A light, fashionable leather mule from Papillio, the Carmen is a simple and elegant look with understated embellishments for style and fun. The adjustable upper strap not only ensures a perfect fit, but also forms a stunning visual contrast with the leather below. For comfort, the footbed is a anatomically formed cork and latex with a flexible EVA sole.
