Are Birkenstock Care Essentials certified?
Birkenstock Care Essentials are all either COSMOS Natural or COSMOS Organic certified. This ensures that our products meet strict standards for:
- Promoting organic agriculture
- Respecting biodiversity
- Using resources responsibly
- Employing clean manufacturing practices that prioritize human and environmental health
To achieve COSMOS Organic certification, at least 20% of any leave-on product (excluding water) must be organic, and at least 95% of the organic ingredients must meet organic farming standards.
Our products are not only made with 100% natural ingredients, they're completely free from paraffin, silicones, parabens, synthetic fragrances or pigments, PEGs, animal testing and genetic engineering.
