Should Birkenstocks be loose or tight?
Birkenstocks should not be tight. Whether they are in sandal or shoe form. Ideally, they should fit comfortably with some wriggle room, without pressure on the skin, or cutting into the skin but also not with gaping, loose straps. View our Sizing & Fitting Guide for more information.
