Prolong the life of your Birkenstocks by following our care instructions:

  • Trying on a new pair: Follow our size guide to ensure you’re wearing the correct size.

  • Breaking in a new pair: Allow your feet to adjust to your new shoes by limiting wear to just a few hours the first five to six times.

  • Air footbeds regularly: Airing the footbeds prevents the build-up of odours caused by excess moisture.

  • Don’t immerse cork models in water: Water can damage cork-based sandals/shoes and dissolve the glue/sealant.

  • Avoid extreme heat: Heat exposure can damage Birkenstocks. Avoid leaving them in the car or direct sunlight, and keep away from radiators and fireplaces.

  • Repair your shoes: Over time, Birkenstock footwear may require repair due to general wear. Read more about repairs.>

Shipping:

  • FREE express shipping on all orders over $50.00 Australia-wide.
  • Orders under $50.00 will have a flat rate express shipping cost of $15.00.

Returns:

  • All sale items are Final Sale and cannot be returned unless faulty.

  • Return requests for faulty items must be emailed to help@birkenstock.com.au within 3 days of receiving your order.
  • Returned items must be unworn in original packaging and meet our return conditions.

The promoter of this promotion is Birkenstock Australia Pty Limited (ABN 63 0898 684 04) hereinafter referred to as "Birkenstock Australia Online" or "www.birkenstock.com.au." 


 Promotion Period 

Our Black Friday Sale commences on 27 November 2025 at 3:00 PM Australian Eastern Daylight Time (AEDT) and ends on 1 December 2025 at 11:59 PM AEDT. All discounts and offers are valid only during this period. We cannot extend the discount beyond this timeframe. 


Discounts 

Discounts of up to 45% off are available sitewide on selected items only. The product will display the markdown price.   


Exclusions 

Discounts cannot be combined with any other promotions, offers, or discount codes. 

The sale excludes New Arrivals, New and selected Exclusives, Care Essential products, Shoe Care products, Anniversary products, Accessories except for selected socks, Carry Over Core Range products, Footbeds and Insoles.  


Online Only Promotion 

This promotion is exclusively available through Birkenstock Australia Online at www.birkenstock.com.au. It does not apply to purchases made in physical stores or through other stockists.  


Stock Availability 

All products are subject to availability. Limited stock is available for selected sale items, and discounts are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Once items are sold out, they will no longer be available at the promotional price.  


Birkenstock Australia Online will make every effort to fulfil all orders. However, if there has been an unforeseen stock shortage in our warehouse and we are unable to supply the sale item in your order, we will cancel your order and issue you a refund.  


Returns & Exchanges 

All items purchased during the Black Friday Sale 2025 are final and cannot be returned or exchanged unless deemed faulty upon arrival. If an item is faulty on arrival, please email a photograph of the item to help@birkenstock.com.au within 3 days of receiving your delivery. 

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the product is faulty or damaged. As per our Returns Policy. 


Order Adjustments 

Birkenstock Australia reserves the right to cancel or modify orders if the promotional discount was applied in error or if the order violates any of the terms and conditions. 

Birkenstock Australia reserves the right to cancel any orders where the shipping address is an on-shipping or freight forwarding company. 

Birkenstock Australia reserves the right to cancel any orders where multiple items have been purchased in bulk quantities.  

Birkenstock Australia reserves the right to hold orders that have been flagged for review. 

If an order adjustment is necessary, customers will be notified via the email address provided at checkout or contacted by telephone. 

Please ensure that the correct item, size, and shipping and billing address details are provided when placing your order.  

Birkenstock Australia cannot guarantee that updates can be made after an order is placed, and incorrect details may result in the order being cancelled. 

Birkenstock Australia cannot take responsibility for errors in the shipping or billing information provided by customers, including delays or cancellations caused by such errors. It is the customer’s responsibility to provide accurate and complete details to ensure successful delivery.

Dispatch, Shipping & Delivery 

We anticipate high traffic and an increased volume of enquiries. Additionally, there will likely be increased demand nationwide for all carriers partnered with stores running Black Friday promotions. As a result, processing, shipping, and delivery times may be affected. 

Help ease the strain on logistics services by double-checking your shipping details before placing your order. If you will not be home and there is no safe place to leave your parcel, we recommend using a parcel locker for delivery. 

Orders will be dispatched via StarTrack Express, which operates with Authority to Leave (ATL). Deliveries to PO Boxes will be handled by Australia Post. Tracking details will be sent to your email once your order has been processed. 

We will endeavour to get your orders out as quickly as possible. However, please allow up to 7 business days for order dispatch.

Interior & Exterior Arch Support

The arch supports that run alongside the sides of the footbed surround the tarsal bones inside and out. This gives the foot the stability it needs when it takes a step.

Deep Heel Cup

The very deep molding in the heel area supports the foot tissue and holds the heel bone firmly in its natural position. This provides the foot with nearly as much support when it is in a sandal as when it is in a closed shoe.

Sustainable Materials

NATURAL CORK – A Renewable Raw Material

One of our most important raw materials is cork – A natural and sustainable product that boasts high elasticity, outstanding cushioning, and excellent heat and sound insulation. The cork layer is reproduced and can therefore be harvested again and again without harming the tree.

The cork is obtained from the bark layer of the cork oak. At least five centimeters of thick bark is stripped from the cork oak – a process that can only be repeated every seven to nine years. A single tree can provide 100 to 200 kilograms of cork during its lifetime.

LATEX – The Environmentally Friendly Adhesive

Natural latex serves as a primary binding agent in the production of the footbed. Like cork, natural latex is also a renewable resource. Natural latex is obtained from the resin of rubber trees.

This delicate natural material has a much better energy balance than synthetic latex, which is obtained from crude oil, and it's also free from pollutants such as solvents or CFCs. In addition, natural latex has beneficial natural properties, such as a high elasticity-point and superior breathability.
